Training modules
The PAFnow Viewer module is mainly aimed at PAFnow users in Microsoft Power BI and does not require any previous knowledge.
This training covers:
- Understand basic definitions of process data analysis and requirements for Process Mining
- Understand and use PAFnow Custom Visuals and Reports in Microsoft Power BI
- Learn to use PAFnow core functions and components
- Outlook: Power Platform (Actions)
Participation for licensed customers only
The PAFnow Editor module is primarily aimed at process analysts who are responsible for gathering Process Mining uses cases and creating analyses accordingly for their viewers. It requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
This training covers:
- Create and interpret new reports and process analyses with PAFnow in Microsoft Power BI
- Building Ad hoc Wow Dashboards
- Outlook: Custom Visuals in Power BI
Participation for licensed customers only
The PAFnow Report Designer module is aimed at Power BI experts (or those who aspire to it) and requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI as well as basic understanding of Process Mining.
This training covers:
- Get to know Microsoft Power BI as technical basis for PAFnow
- Event Log Guide
- Outlook: Power BI AI
Participation for licensed customers only
The PAFnow Data Engineer module is aimed primarily at more technically affine people who are responsible for data preparation as well as data preprocessing and requires basic knowledge of SQL. So, the main goal is understanding the PAFnow ETL process.
This training covers:
- Understanding Process Mining data structures and PAFnow data models
- Learn the structure and use of the “PAFnow SSIS Package” for the Microsoft SQL Server
- Applying PAFnow Best Practices (Do’s and Don’ts)

PAFnow Basics
PAFnow in a Day is a comprehensive online crash course on PAFnow’s Process Mining in Power BI. This online course covers:
- Learn the basics of Process Mining in Power BI with PAFnow
- Understand how to use each page of the basic PAFnow Process Mining report
- Learn how to build Process Mining reports in Power BI
- Discover how easy PAFnow makes Process Mining
