PAF has appointed Professor Dr. Heiner Diefenbach to its advisory board
Darmstadt, January 9, 2017 - The Process Analytics Factory (PAF), a center for business process performance diagnostics and a leader in the field of process intelligence, has appointed Professor Dr. Heiner Diefenbach to its advisory board to strengthen its expertise in the field of digitization consulting.
Diefenbach began his career in 1988 in corporate development at Deutsche Bank, where he worked after earning his doctorate in business informatics. Before joining Fujitsu TDS as CEO in 2008, he had been responsible for the company’s finance division since 2005. In 2013, he was appointed as Honorary Professor of Business Informatics at TU Darmstadt. Most recently, Prof. Dr. Heiner Diefenbach was responsible for Fujitsu’s entire service business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as Managing Director of Fujitsu TDS GmbH.
Digitization changes existing processes and leads to increased efficiency at reduced costs. At the same time, it improves the range of products and services and enables a stronger positive customer experience. Digital transformation is forcing all industries to change, but it is also changing the business model of management consultancies.
Since the company was founded, PAF has been building the foundations of a new digital business model as a software-enabled service in the area of process consulting. This involves the digitization both of consulting processes and of consulting knowledge. Digital consulting components are already an important core element in PAF’s consulting approach. To this end, it combines the best of Process Intelligence, Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence in PAFnow, the new cloud-based solution that will be presented in the next few days.
Prof. Dr. Heiner Diefenbach, Honorary Professor at the Technical University of Darmstadt and Board Member/CEO of Fujitsu TDS Informationstechnologie AG, an SAP Gold Partner says: “Since its foundation, PAF has remarkably succeeded in developing an intelligent automation platform for business process analysis that helps companies to understand their entire process structure. PAF is a young and promising company that combines expert knowledge from hundreds of Process Mining customer projects with research knowledge from the leading minds in Process Mining, Business Intelligence and Artifical Intelligence. I am happy to support Tobias Rother and the team and contribute my part to the further growth of the company."
“With Prof. Dr. Heiner Diefenbach, we have gained an expert in cloud services," says Tobias Rother, CEO of Process Analytics Factory GmbH. “With his strategic competence and operational experience, Prof. Dr. Diefenbach will further advance PAF in the continued development and international expansion of its digital business model."
